2022-11-10Convert CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN to KconfigTom Rini1-0/+1
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN To do this, we set a default of 0 for everyone because there are a number of cases where we define CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN but the only impact is that we set TOTAL_MALLOC_LEN to be CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_LEN + CONFIG_ENV_SIZE, so we must continue to allow all boards to set this value. Update the SPL code to use 200 KB as the default raw U-Boot size directly, if we don't have a real CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN value. 2022-10-21imx8mm_evk: Add Serial Download Protocol supportFabio Estevam1-0/+21
Add Serial Download Protocol support as it is a useful method to load flash.bin to RAM and run it via 'uuu'. With this patch, it is possible to start both U-Boot SPL and U-Boot proper using the following 'uuu'command: $ uuu -brun spl flash.bin Based on a patch from Marek Vasut for the imx8mm-mx8menlo board. Instead of duplicating code implemented by i.MX8M version of arch_misc_init() in every board, enable CONFIG_ARCH_MISC_INIT and call arch_misc_init() from spl_board_init(). 2022-07-26spl: imx8mm: enlarge SPL_MAX_SIZEPeng Fan1-1/+0
The CONFIG_SPL_MAX_SIZE could be 0x27000 for i.MX8MM when SPL_TEXT_BASE set to 0x7E1000. The DDR firmware max uses 96KB, there is a 4KB padding header before SPL_TEXT_BASE, so the SPL MAX SIZE is `256KB - 96KB - 4KB`. imx8mm ekv has been switched to use distro boot commands, but had no correct options enabled to support sysboot. According to the README.distro, sysboot is consindered to be a recommended way of using distro boot commands, it required default distro features to be enabled instead of only those that are relevant to the boot script. Replace the boot script specific options in the config to a default distro option. Supported boot device types in iMX8MM: MMC, DHCP. CONFIG_CMD_PART is added for command part and CONFIG_CMD_FS_GENERIC is for command fstype. CONFIG_BOOTCOMMAND which is defined in include/configs/imx8mm_evk.h is deleted because "run distro_bootcmd" is required to be the default boot mode. scriptaddr is the location in RAM where boot.scr.uimg/boot.scr will be loaded to prior to execution. kernel_addr_r is the location in RAM where the kernel will be loaded to.
