2020-06-26Convert CONFIG_CONS_INDEX to KconfigTom Rini1-0/+2
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_CONS_INDEX Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2020-04-27mips: mtmips: Increase CONFIG_SPL_SYS_MALLOC_F_LENStefan Roese1-1/+1
Since SPL now uses malloc to allocate the buffer for the compressed image before decompression to the destination address, we need to configure a big enough malloc space in SPL. 256k seems to be big enough even for the GARDENA board. 2020-04-27mips: mtmips: enable SPL for all boardsWeijie Gao1-3/+10
This patch enables SPL for all mtmips boards. And also remove defconfig files which are intend to build ram bootable u-boot files. SPL_DM and OF_CONTROL are enabled for both boards. Reviewed-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de> Signed-off-by: Weijie Gao <weijie.gao@mediatek.com>
2020-04-27mips: mtmips: rewrite lowlevel codes of mt7628Weijie Gao1-2/+0
This patch rewrites the mtmips architecture with the following changes: 1. Move MT7628 soc parts into a subfolder. 2. Lock parts of D-Cache as temporary stack. 3. Reimplement DDR initialization in C language. 4. Reimplement DDR calibration in a clear logic. 5. Add full support for auto size detection for DDR1 and DDR2. 6. Use accurate CPU clock depending on the input xtal frequency for timer and delay functions. Note: print_cpuinfo() has incompatible parts with MT7620 so it's moved into mt7628 subfolder. 2020-04-27mips: mtmips: make use of sysreset-resetctrl for mt7628 socWeijie Gao1-1/+0

2019-12-04mtd: ensure MTD is compiled when there is a SPI NOR flash using MTDMiquel Raynal1-0/+1
MTD must be enabled when there is a SPI NOR flash using the SPI_FLASH_MTD config entry. Signed-off-by: Miquel Raynal <miquel.raynal@bootlin.com> Reviewed-by: Boris Brezillon <boris.brezillon@bootlin.com>
2019-11-21env: Finish migration of common ENV optionsTom Rini1-0/+3
- In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so. - On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define to 0. - Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR. - Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it. - Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT - On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location. - On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default. - Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within ENV_IS_IN_FLASH. - Migrate all platforms. 2019-11-20env: Add CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR symbolTom Rini1-0/+1
Today in initr_reloc_global_data() we use some non-obvious tests to determine if we need to relocate the env_addr within gd or not. In order to facilitate migration of other symbols to Kconfig we need to introduce a new symbol for this particular use case. 2019-10-25configs: mtmips: remove configs which are selected in Kconfig or uselessWeijie Gao1-7/+0

2019-07-11configs: Rename CONFIG_IMAGE_FORMAT_LEGACY to CONFIG_LEGACY_IMAGE_FORMATTom Rini1-1/+1
The name CONFIG_LEGACY_IMAGE_FORMAT reads slightly better along with allowing us to avoid a rather nasty Kbuild/Kconfig issue down the line with CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(IMAGE_FORMAT_LEGACY). In a few places outside of cmd/ switch to using CONFIG_IS_ENABLED() to test what is set. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

2019-05-03mips: rename mach-mt7620 to mach-mtmipsWeijie Gao1-1/+1
Currently mach-mt7620 contains only support for mt7628. To avoid confusion, rename mach-mt7620 to mach-mtmips, which means MediaTek MIPS platforms. MT7620 and MT7628 should be distinguished by SOC_MT7620 and SOC_MT7628 because they do not share the same lowlevel codes. Dependencies of four drivers are changed to SOC_MT7628 as these drivers are only used by MT7628. 2018-12-19mips: mt76xx: linkit/gardena: Don't use CONFIG_OF_EMBEDStefan Roese1-1/+0
Building with CONFIG_OF_EMBED generates build warnings, as it should only be used for debugging purposes. So let's move all MT7688 targets to CONFIG_OF_SEPARATE instead with this patch. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de> Cc: Daniel Schwierzeck <daniel.schwierzeck@gmail.com>
2018-11-18mips: mt76xx: linkit-smart-7688: Misc updates to dts/config/defconfigStefan Roese1-7/+15
These misc updates include the following changes: - Change baudrate from 57600 to 115200 - Enable MIPS_BOOT_CMDLINE_LEGACY - Enable FIT support - Enable ethernet support - Enable SPI support - Enable GPIO support - Change max image size from 0x40000 to 0x80000 A note about the baudrate change: The original Mediatek U-Boot version used 57600 baud. Lets move to a more common and faster speed of 115200 baud. And remove the "console=" property from the DT as its not needed. 2018-09-23mips: Add LinkIt Smart 7688 supportStefan Roese1-0/+55
The LinkIt Smart 7688 modules have a MT7688 SoC with 128 MiB of RAM and 32 MiB of flash (SPI NOR). This patch also includes 2 targets. One is the target that can be programmed into the SPI NOR flash and a 2nd target "xxx-ram" is added to support loading and booting via an already running U-Boot version. This allows easy development and testing without the need to flash the image each time.
