2020-06-26spi: Enable missing CONFIG_SPL_DM_SPI supportTom Rini1-0/+1
Due to how the Makefile logic is we currently get DM_SPI support in SPL enabled by having DM_SPI enabled for full U-Boot but not having CONFIG_SPL_DM_SPI set. Add this missing option to boards that were inadvertently making use of it. 2019-12-04mtd: ensure MTD is compiled when CMD_MTDPARTS is selectedMiquel Raynal1-0/+1
MTD support must be enabled when using mtdparts. Indeed, functions like get_mtd_info(), get_mtd_device() and put_mtd_device() are in drivers/mtd/mtd_uboot.c and are built only with CONFIG_MTD. 2019-11-23rockchip: lion-rk3368: Migrate to use common FIT generatorKever Yang1-1/+0
The RK3368 lion board ATF can use bl31.elf like RK3399 and get the FIT source with generic FIT generator script at: arch/arm/mach-rockchip/make_fit_atf.py And then we can use 'BL31' environment to get the path of bl31.elf instead of copy it into U-Boot folder. 2019-11-21env: Finish migration of common ENV optionsTom Rini1-0/+1
- In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so. - On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define to 0. - Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR. - Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it. - Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT - On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location. - On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default. - Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within ENV_IS_IN_FLASH. - Migrate all platforms. 2019-11-20env: Add CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR symbolTom Rini1-0/+1
Today in initr_reloc_global_data() we use some non-obvious tests to determine if we need to relocate the env_addr within gd or not. In order to facilitate migration of other symbols to Kconfig we need to introduce a new symbol for this particular use case. 2018-08-16configs: Migrate CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKSTom Rini1-0/+1
We have the following cases: - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was defined, migrate normally - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS_MAX was defined and then used for CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS after a check, just migrate it over now. - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was very oddly defined on p2771-0000-* (to 1024 + 2), set this to 8. 2018-07-21rockchip: utilize CONFIG_DEFAULT_FDT_FILEKlaus Goger1-0/+1
Currently the fdtfile environment variable is set to CONFIG_DEFAULT_DEVICE_TREE which is іnternally used as U-Boot devicetree source. The OS can use a different filename and Kconfig gives us the ability to select a default devicetree via CONFIG_DEFAULT_FDT_FILE. This also gives user configuring U-Boot via menuconfig the behaviour someone would expect. On the NIOS2 and Xtensa architectures, we do not have CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE set. This is a strict migration of the current values into the defconfig and removing them from the headers. I did not attempt to add more default values in and for now will leave that to maintainers. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

2017-10-11cmd: Toggle the default value of CONFIG_CMD_IMLSTuomas Tynkkynen1-1/+0
Having this as a 'default y' is rather annoying because it doesn't actually compile unless other options are defined in the board header: ../cmd/bootm.c: In function 'do_imls_nor': ../cmd/bootm.c:330:7: error: 'CONFIG_SYS_MAX_FLASH_BANKS' undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean 'CONFIG_SYS_MAX_FLASH_SECT'? i < CONFIG_SYS_MAX_FLASH_BANKS; ++i, ++info) { Make it 'default n' so people who develop new boards that start from a blank defconfig have one less compilation failure to debug. 2017-08-13rockchip: rk3368: spl: move SPL_LDSCRIPT to KconfigPhilipp Tomsich1-1/+0
With the new way of doing things (i.e. the hierarchical selection of SPL_LDSCRIPT via Kconfig) in place, this moves the SPL_LDSCRIPT setting for the RK3368 from defconfig back into Kconfig. With this done, there should be no lingering cases of SPL_LDSCRIPT outside of Kconfig files. The RK3368-uQ7 (codenamed 'Lion') is a micro-Qseven (40mm x 70mm, MXM-230 edge connector compatible with the Qseven specification) form-factor system-on-module based on the octo-core Rockchip RK3368. It is designed, supported and manufactured by Theobroma Systems. It provides the following features: - 8x Cortex-A53 (in 2 clusters of 4 cores each) - (on-module) up to 4GB of DDR3 memory - (on-module) SPI-NOR flash - (on-module) eMMC - Gigabit Ethernet (with an on-module KSZ9031 PHY) - USB - HDMI - MIPI-DSI/single-channel LVDS (muxed on the 'LVDS-A' pin-group) - various 'slow' interfaces (e.g. UART, SPI, I2C, I2S, ...)
