Move twl4030_power_mmc_init() from board_mmc_power_init() to misc_init_r() and disable CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_F. Otherwise U-Boot cannot initialize MMC. 2021-01-12bus: ti: add minimal sysc interconnect target driverDario Binacchi1-0/+1
We can handle the sysc interconnect target module in a generic way for many TI SoCs. Initially let's just enable domain clocks before the children are probed. The code is loosely based on the drivers/bus/ti-sysc.c of the Linux kernel version 5.9-rc7. This would allow easier debugging on real device as access to serial console is hard and also in qemu emulator where it is easier to copy+paste from serial console as from SDL framebuffer. 2020-05-11Nokia RX-51: Move code from defconfig back to C header filePali Rohár1-1/+1
In commit commit 37304aaf60bf ("Convert CONFIG_USE_PREBOOT and CONFIG_PREBOOT to Kconfig") was moved complicated multiline script code from C header to oneliner in defconfig. After this change multiline to wide oneliner it is hard to read this code and even harder to debug. Moreover this script code should be at place where are other scripts, so move it back to C header file. For now, just update the CONFIG tests. This also involves reworking the default for CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR so that we don't set it when we cannot make a reasonable default, as it does not cause any compile failures. 2018-03-16Convert all of CONFIG_CONS_INDEX to KconfigTom Rini1-0/+1
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_CONS_INDEX We have existing entries for this option in a number of places, with different guards on them. They're also sometimes used for things not directly inside of the serial driver. First, introduce a new symbol to guard the use of CONFIG_CONS_INDEX, so that in the case where we don't need this for the serial driver, but for some other use, we can still do it. Next, consolidate all of these into the single entry in drivers/serial/Kconfig. Finally, introduce CONS_INDEX_[023456] so that we can imply a correct value here to make the defconfig side of this smaller. cmd/Makefile has: ifdef CONFIG_FPGA obj-$(CONFIG_CMD_FPGA) += fpga.o endif which means that if CONFIG_FPGA is not set, CONFIG_CMD_FPGA silently does nothing. Let's remove that Makefile conditional and instead express this equivalent dependency in Kconfig, so a lot of redundant # CONFIG_CMD_FPGA is not set can be removed from board defconfigs that don't actually have an FPGA. This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_MMC CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_NAND CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_UBI CONFIG_ENV_IS_NOWHERE In fact this already exists for sunxi as a 'choice' config. However not all the choices are available in Kconfig yet so we cannot use that. It would lead to more than one option being set. In addition, one purpose of this series is to allow the environment to be stored in more than one place. So the existing choice is converted to a normal config allowing each option to be set independently. There are not many opportunities for Kconfig updates to reduce the size of this patch. This was tested with ./tools/moveconfig.py -i CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_MMC And then manual updates. This is because for CHAIN_OF_TRUST boards they can only have ENV_IS_NOWHERE set, so we enforce that via Kconfig logic now. In Linux, CONFIG_ARCH_OMAP2PLUS is used for OMAP2 or later SoCs. Rename CONFIG_ARCH_OMAP2 to CONFIG_ARCH_OMAP2PLUS to follow this naming. Move the OMAP2+ board/SoC choice down to mach-omap2/Kconfig to slim down the arch/arm/Kconfig level. Today, we have cases where we wish to build all of U-Boot in Thumb2 mode for various reasons. We also have cases where we only build SPL in Thumb2 mode due to size constraints and wish to build the rest of the system in ARM mode. So in this migration we introduce a new symbol as well, SPL_SYS_THUMB_BUILD to control if we build everything or just SPL (or in theory, just U-Boot) in Thumb2 mode.
