2022-12-22Convert CONFIG_HOSTNAME et al to KconfigTom Rini1-0/+2
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_GATEWAYIP CONFIG_HOSTNAME CONFIG_IPADDR CONFIG_NETMASK CONFIG_ROOTPATH CONFIG_SERVERIP CONFIG_UBOOTPATH To do this, we introduce a CONFIG_USE_ form of each of the above and change include/env_default.h to test for that to be set before setting a value. This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN To do this, we set a default of 0 for everyone because there are a number of cases where we define CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN but the only impact is that we set TOTAL_MALLOC_LEN to be CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_LEN + CONFIG_ENV_SIZE, so we must continue to allow all boards to set this value. Update the SPL code to use 200 KB as the default raw U-Boot size directly, if we don't have a real CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN value. 2022-06-29Rename CONFIG_SYS_AUTOLAOD to CONFIG_SYS_DISABLE_AUTOLOADTom Rini1-0/+1
The "autoload" environment variable is always checked with env_get_yesno as it can be set to any form of no. The default behavior of env_get_yesno is to return -1 on variables that are not set, which acts as true in general (we test for non-zero return). To convert CONFIG_SYS_AUTOLOAD to Kconfig, given that it was almost always used to set autoload to no, first rename to CONFIG_SYS_DISABLE_AUTOLOAD for consistency sake. Then, make it so that if enabled we set autoload=0 in the default environment. Migrate all platforms which set CONFIG_SYS_AUTOLOAD to non-true or that set autoload to false in their default environment to using CONFIG_SYS_DISABLE_AUTOLOAD Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

2020-08-25arm: mx6: Make all i.MX6 SoCs user-selectableTom Rini1-0/+1
We have a number of platforms that are a combination of a carrier board and System-on-Module (SoM) that in turn allows for the board to have different SoCs on it. In some cases, this is handled via board-specific Kconfig options. In other cases we make use of CONFIG_SYS_EXTRA_OPTIONS. This latter case however can lead to invalid configurations as we will not in turn get options that in Kconfig are selected by or depend on that setting. To resolve this, make the SoC option a choice in Kconfig and make boards depend on what they can support. This change opens us up for further clean-ups in the cases where a single CONFIG_TARGET_xxx can support different SoCs and today they do not, or do not cleanly do so. Many boards do not use all selected framebuffer depth configurations, for such boards there is some unused code in video and console uclass routines. Make depth specific code optional to avoid dead code and slightly reduce binary size. Also make ANSI code optional for the same reason. - In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so. - On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define to 0. - Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR. - Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it. - Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT - On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location. - On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default. - Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within ENV_IS_IN_FLASH. - Migrate all platforms.
