When CONFIG_ATMEL_NAND_HW_PMECC is set, CONFIG_PMECC_CAP defaults to the value of 2. At the conversion to Kconfig for the PMECC config values, some boards/defconfigs were wrongly configured. Update CONFIG_PMECC_CAP to the PMECC_CAP value before the conversion. 2021-01-22configs: at91: Fix the involuntarily disablement of NAND PMECCTudor Ambarus1-0/+1
SPL_GENERATE_ATMEL_PMECC_HEADER selects: ATMEL_NAND_HWECC [=y] && ATMEL_NAND_HW_PMECC [=y]. With the removal of SPL_GENERATE_ATMEL_PMECC_HEADER, ATMEL_NAND_HW_PMECC and ATMEL_NAND_HWECC were no longer selected. Also, when the SPL_GENERATE_ATMEL_PMECC_HEADER was removed, the configs were not updated using savedefconfig, thus the 'commit d168bcb6fe39 ("configs: Resync with savedefconfig")' further removes the CONFIG_PMECC_CAP value. Update defconfigs and add CONFIG_ATMEL_NAND_HW_PMECC, which selects ATMEL_NAND_HWECC, in order to restore NAND PMECC support. Restore CONFIG_PMECC_CAP value. Convert CONFIG_SYS_NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT to Kconfig, update defconfigs, headers and whitelist. Please note that this symbol already was used in Kconfig (imply in CONFIG_NAND_ATMEL) which did not work, since this symbol was not available in Kconfig. This changes now with this patch and all boards with CONFIG_NAND_ATMEL will have BBT enabled. Which is what I also need on my GARDENA AT91SAM based board. 2019-07-09at91, omap2plus: configs: migrate CONFIG_ENV_ to defconfigsMarkus Klotzbuecher1-0/+1
Enable the extended ENV options for AT91 and OMAP2PLUS in order to be able to use CONFIG_ENV_UBI_* on these architectures. As this change also makes the configs ENV_SIZE, ENV_SECT_SIZE, ENV_OFFSET visible to AT91 and OMAP2PLUS, migrate users of these to KConfig. This migration was run using an extended moveconfig.py which evaluates expressions such as "(512 << 10)". See patch ("moveconfig: expand simple expressions"). All modified boards were built with SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH=0 before and after the change and successfully confirmed that the identical binary is generated (the only exception was igep00x0, which does not define CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_UBI in the original board header. SPL_GENERATE_ATMEL_PMECC_HEADER will generate a header for the SPL for NAND information. The initial stage 1 bootloader will use this header in case the NAND flash doesn't support commands to retrieve sector size, etc. However this header is bad for different boot media, like MMC or SPI. 2019-01-26atmel: add CMD_FS_GENERIC to SAMA5D3 for EFI bootGreg Czerniak1-0/+1
I'm working on getting OpenBSD to run on the Atmel SAMA5D3 Xplained. OpenBSD uses an EFI bootloader, which requires the "load" command to work, since "fatload" doesn't initialize the EFI memory addresses properly.
