2021-10-20verdin-imx8mm: use preboot for fdtfile evaluationIgor Opaniuk1-1/+2
Enable and set preboot var with fdtfile evaluation. It will be checked and run immediately before starting the CONFIG_BOOTDELAY countdown and/or running the auto-boot command resp. entering interactive mode. This provides possibility to use different boot cmds in interactive mode without manual setting fdtfile value, as it it's already evaluated before entering interactive mode. Add a proper Kconfig option for SPL so we can remove the hack in some of the board config files. 2020-05-01ARM: imx8m: Fix reset in SPL on Toradex iMX8MM VerdinMarek Vasut1-0/+5
Board files should not re-implement do_reset() to work around this function not being defined in for specific configurations. Rather, the fix is to compile in drivers which implement this properly. This patch enables sysreset and watchdog drivers in SPL and ties them together to implement the same as the do_reset() hack in the board file, except correctly in the DM/DT framework. This adds initial minimal support for the Toradex Verdin iMX8M Mini Quad 2GB WB IT V1.0A module. They are now strapped to boot from eFuses which are factory fused to properly boot from their on-module eMMC. U-Boot supports booting from the on-module eMMC only, SDP support is disabled for now due to missing i.MX 8M Mini USB support.
