2020-10-09fpga: altera: Rename Stratix10 FPGA to Intel FPGA SDM MailboxChee Hong Ang1-1/+1
Rename Stratix10 FPGA driver to Intel FPGA SDM Mailbox driver because it is using generic SDM (Secure Device Manager) Mailbox interface shared by other platform (e.g. Agilex) as well. Signed-off-by: Chee Hong Ang <chee.hong.ang@intel.com> Reviewed-by: Ley Foon Tan <ley.foon.tan@intel.com>
2019-10-08arm64: versal: fpga: Add PL bit stream load supportSiva Durga Prasad Paladugu1-0/+1
This patch adds PL bitstream load support for Versal platform. The PL bitstream is loaded by making an SMC to ATF which in turn communicates with platform firmware which configures and loads PL bitstream on to PL. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-3/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

2017-07-26arm: socfpga: Restructure FPGA driver in the preparation to support A10Tien Fong Chee1-0/+1
Move FPGA driver which is Gen5 specific code into Gen5 driver file and keeping common FPGA driver intact. All the changes are still keeping in driver/fpga/ and no functional change. Subsequent patch would move FPGA manager driver from arch/arm into driver/fpga/. 2016-03-24fpga: altera: Add StratixV supportStefan Roese1-0/+1
This patch adds support for programming of the StratixV FPGAs. Programming is done in this case (board theadorable) via SPI. The board may provide board specific code for bitstream programming. This StratixV support will be used by the theadorable board. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de> Cc: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com> Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>

Add code necessary to program the FPGA part of SoCFPGA from U-Boot with an RBF blob. This patch also integrates the code into the FPGA driver framework in U-Boot so it can be used via the 'fpga' command. 2013-05-06fpga: zynq: Add support for loading bitstreamMichal Simek1-0/+1
Devcfg device requires to load bitstream in binary format. But u-boot also has an option for loading bitstream in bit format. Let's handle both cases by zynqpl driver. 2010-11-17Switch from archive libraries to partial linkingSebastien Carlier1-2/+2
Before this commit, weak symbols were not overridden by non-weak symbols found in archive libraries when linking with recent versions of binutils. As stated in the System V ABI, "the link editor does not extract archive members to resolve undefined weak symbols". This commit changes all Makefiles to use partial linking (ld -r) instead of creating library archives, which forces all symbols to participate in linking, allowing non-weak symbols to override weak symbols as intended. This approach is also used by Linux, from which the gmake function cmd_link_o_target (defined in config.mk and used in all Makefiles) is inspired. The name of each former library archive is preserved except for extensions which change from ".a" to ".o". This commit updates references accordingly where needed, in particular in some linker scripts. This commit reveals board configurations that exclude some features but include source files that depend these disabled features in the build, resulting in undefined symbols. Known such cases include: - disabling CMD_NET but not CMD_NFS; - enabling CONFIG_OF_LIBFDT but not CONFIG_QE. Signed-off-by: Sebastien Carlier <sebastien.carlier@gmail.com>
2010-10-13FPGA: add support for downloading Lattice bitstreamStefano Babic1-0/+1
The patch adds support to load a Lattice's bitstream image (called VME file) into a Lattice FPGA. The code containing the state machine delivered as part of Lattice's ispVMtools is integrated. The FPGA is programmed using the JTAG interface. The board maintainer must provide accessors to drive the JTAG signals TCK, TMS, TDI and to get the value of the input signal TDO.
