2020-12-14dm: treewide: Rename ..._platdata variables to just ..._platSimon Glass1-11/+11
Try to maintain some consistency between these variables by using _plat as a suffix for them. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-12-14dm: treewide: Rename ofdata_to_platdata() to of_to_plat()Simon Glass1-2/+2
This name is far too long. Rename it to remove the 'data' bits. This makes it consistent with the platdata->plat rename. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-12-14dm: treewide: Rename dev_get_platdata() to dev_get_plat()Simon Glass1-9/+9
Rename this to be consistent with the change from 'platdata'. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-12-14dm: treewide: Rename 'platdata' variables to just 'plat'Simon Glass1-29/+29
We use 'priv' for private data but often use 'platdata' for platform data. We can't really use 'pdata' since that is ambiguous (it could mean private or platform data). Rename some of the latter variables to end with 'plat' for consistency. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-12-13dm: treewide: Rename auto_alloc_size members to be shorterSimon Glass1-1/+1
This construct is quite long-winded. In earlier days it made some sense since auto-allocation was a strange concept. But with driver model now used pretty universally, we can shorten this to 'auto'. This reduces verbosity and makes it easier to read. Coincidentally it also ensures that every declaration is on one line, thus making dtoc's job easier. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-05-19common: Drop linux/bitops.h from common headerSimon Glass1-0/+1
Move this uncommon header out of the common header. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

2019-10-08gpio: zynq: fix issue in set gpio output directionAshok Reddy Soma1-1/+1
This patch fixes zynq_gpio_direction() to call driver specific zynq_gpio_set_value function rather than top level gpio_set_value. Signed-off-by: Ashok Reddy Soma <ashok.reddy.soma@xilinx.com> Signed-off-by: Michal Simek <michal.simek@xilinx.com>
2018-08-07gpio: xilinx: Add support for using label propertyMichal Simek1-1/+9
Add support for reading label property from DT and set up bank name based on that. If label property is not present full device node name is used. Signed-off-by: Michal Simek <michal.simek@xilinx.com> Reviewed-by: Stefan Herbrechtsmeier <stefan@herbrechtsmeier.net>

This patch used platdata structure instead of priv for storing static information read from DT. Signed-off-by: Vipul Kumar <vipul.kumar@xilinx.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Michal Simek <michal.simek@xilinx.com>
2018-07-19gpio: zynq: Setup bank_name to dev->nameMichal Simek1-0/+2
There should be proper bank name setup to distinguish between different gpio drivers. Use dev->name for it. Signed-off-by: Michal Simek <michal.simek@xilinx.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

2018-06-15gpio: zynq_gpio: bank description should use unsigned typeMichal Simek1-4/+4
Use u32 instead of int for max_bank, bank_min and bank_max. These values can't be negative that's why no reason to use signed type. Signed-off-by: Michal Simek <michal.simek@xilinx.com>
2018-06-15gpio: zynq: Do not check unsigned type that is >= 0Michal Simek1-1/+1
There is no reason to check that unsigned type that is >= 0. Signed-off-by: Michal Simek <michal.simek@xilinx.com>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-2/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2017-06-01dm: Rename dev_addr..() functionsSimon Glass1-1/+1
These support the flat device tree. We want to use the dev_read_..() prefix for functions that support both flat tree and live tree. So rename the existing functions to avoid confusion. In the end we will have: 1. dev_read_addr...() - works on devices, supports flat/live tree 2. devfdt_get_addr...() - current functions, flat tree only 3. of_get_address() etc. - new functions, live tree only All drivers will be written to use 1. That function will in turn call either 2 or 3 depending on whether the flat or live tree is in use. Note this involves changing some dead code - the imx_lpi2c.c file.
