2021-01-18mmc: fsl_esdhc_spl: remove superfluous free()Heinrich Schuchardt1-3/+0
Freeing a buffer before calling hang() is superfluous. Removing the call reduces the SPL size. Signed-off-by: Heinrich Schuchardt <xypron.glpk@gmx.de> Reviewed-by: Jaehoon Chung <jh80.chung@samsung.com>
2020-01-18common: Move hang() to the same header as panic()Simon Glass1-0/+1
At present panic() is in the vsprintf.h header file. That does not seem like an obvious choice for hang(), even though it relates to panic(). So let's put hang() in its own header. 2019-12-03common: Move ARM cache operations out of common.hSimon Glass1-0/+1
These functions are CPU-related and do not use driver model. Move them to cpu_func.h Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Daniel Schwierzeck <daniel.schwierzeck@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-2/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-01-14block: pass block dev not num to read/write/erase()Stephen Warren1-3/+5
This will allow the implementation to make use of data in the block_dev structure beyond the base device number. This will be useful so that eMMC block devices can encompass the HW partition ID rather than treating this out-of-band. Equally, the existence of the priv field is crying out for this patch to exist. 2013-12-08powerpc: mmc: Add corenet devices support in esdhc splPriyanka Jain1-0/+5
Existing eSDHC SPL framework assumes booting from sd-image with boot_format header which contains final u-boot Image offset and size. No such header is present in case of corenet devices like T1040 as corenet deivces use PBI-RCW based intialization. So, for corenet deives, SPL bootloader use values provided at compilation time. These values can be defined in board specific config file. Signed-off-by: Priyanka Jain <Priyanka.Jain@freescale.com> Acked-by: Pantelis Antoniou <panto@antoniou-consulting.com>

2013-08-20powerpc: mpc85xx: Support booting from SD Card with SPLYing Zhang1-0/+130
The code from the internal on-chip ROM. It loads the final uboot image into DDR, then jump to it to begin execution. The SPL's size is sizeable, the maximum size must not exceed the size of L2 SRAM. It initializes the DDR through SPD code, and copys final uboot image to DDR. So there are two stage uboot images: * spl_boot, 96KB size. The env variables are copied to L2 SRAM, so that ddr spd code can get the interleaving mode setting in env. It loads final uboot image from offset 96KB. * final uboot image, size is variable depends on the functions enabled.
