2022-06-29rockchip: usb: phy: add rk3066/rk3188 supportJohan Jonker1-0/+8
Add rk3066a/rk3188 support to rockchip_usb2_phy.c They don't have completely identical usb phy registers, so separate comapatible strings and data. Signed-off-by: Johan Jonker <jbx6244@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Kever Yang <kever.yang@rock-chips.com>
2021-09-28usb: phy: ti: Remove non-DM PHY codeTom Rini3-271/+0
At this point in time, all platforms that had previously used drivers/usb/phy/omap_usb_phy.c have been migrated to DM and related options. Remove this now unused code and some related unused defines. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2021-02-02common: Drop asm/global_data.h from common headerSimon Glass1-0/+1
Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so remove that include. 2020-02-06dm: core: Create a new header file for 'compat' featuresSimon Glass1-0/+1
At present dm/device.h includes the linux-compatible features. This requires including linux/compat.h which in turn includes a lot of headers. One of these is malloc.h which we thus end up including in every file in U-Boot. Apart from the inefficiency of this, it is problematic for sandbox which needs to use the system malloc() in some files. Move the compatibility features into a separate header file. 2020-01-18common: Move hang() to the same header as panic()Simon Glass1-0/+1
At present panic() is in the vsprintf.h header file. That does not seem like an obvious choice for hang(), even though it relates to panic(). So let's put hang() in its own header. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini5-12/+5
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2018-03-05libfdt: move headers to <linux/libfdt.h> and <linux/libfdt_env.h>Masahiro Yamada1-1/+1
Thomas reported U-Boot failed to build host tools if libfdt-devel package is installed because tools include libfdt headers from /usr/include/ instead of using internal ones. This commit moves the header code: include/libfdt.h -> include/linux/libfdt.h include/libfdt_env.h -> include/linux/libfdt_env.h and replaces include directives: #include <libfdt.h> -> #include <linux/libfdt.h> #include <libfdt_env.h> -> #include <linux/libfdt_env.h> Reported-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@bootlin.com> Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>

2016-09-24treewide: replace #include <asm-generic/errno.h> with <linux/errno.h>Masahiro Yamada1-1/+1
Now, include/linux/errno.h is a wrapper of <asm-generic/errno.h>. Replace all include directives for <asm-generic/errno.h> with <linux/errno.h>. <asm-generic/...> is supposed to be included from <asm/...> when arch-headers fall back into generic implementation. The index returned by get_sys_clk_index() is not exactly what we expect. Let's not rely on that and use get_sys_clk_freq() instead. 2015-04-16ti: dwc3: Enable clocks in enable_basic_clocks() in hw_data.cKishon Vijay Abraham I1-16/+0
Commit d3cfcb3 (ARM: DRA7: Enable clocks for USB OTGSS and USB PHY) changed the member names of prcm_regs from cm_l3init_usb_otg_ss_clkctrl to cm_l3init_usb_otg_ss1_clkctrl and from cm_coreaon_usb_phy_core_clkctrl to cm_coreaon_usb_phy1_core_clkctrl in order to differentiate between the two dwc3 controllers present in dra7xx/am43xx and enabled these clocks in enable_basic_clocks() in hw_data.c. However these clocks continued to be enabled in board files/driver files for dwc3 host mode functionality causing compilation break with few configs. Fixed it here by making all the clocks enabled in enable_basic_clocks() and removing it from board files/driver files here. Signed-off-by: Kishon Vijay Abraham I <kishon@ti.com>

Moving the usb/phy code from xhci-omap to the usb/phy directory and moving the associated phy code over to the new file. Newer TI processors adding xHCI support will have different PHY configurations so therefore abstracting this code away will prevent messing around with the xhci-omap file itself. 2010-11-17Switch from archive libraries to partial linkingSebastien Carlier1-2/+2
Before this commit, weak symbols were not overridden by non-weak symbols found in archive libraries when linking with recent versions of binutils. As stated in the System V ABI, "the link editor does not extract archive members to resolve undefined weak symbols". This commit changes all Makefiles to use partial linking (ld -r) instead of creating library archives, which forces all symbols to participate in linking, allowing non-weak symbols to override weak symbols as intended. This approach is also used by Linux, from which the gmake function cmd_link_o_target (defined in config.mk and used in all Makefiles) is inspired. The name of each former library archive is preserved except for extensions which change from ".a" to ".o". This commit updates references accordingly where needed, in particular in some linker scripts. This commit reveals board configurations that exclude some features but include source files that depend these disabled features in the build, resulting in undefined symbols. Known such cases include: - disabling CMD_NET but not CMD_NFS; - enabling CONFIG_OF_LIBFDT but not CONFIG_QE. Signed-off-by: Sebastien Carlier <sebastien.carlier@gmail.com>
