2018-12-18dm: cpu: Add timebase frequency to the platdataBin Meng1-0/+3
This adds a timebase_freq member to the 'struct cpu_platdata', to hold the "timebase-frequency" value in the cpu or /cpus node. 2018-09-18cpu: Add cpu_probe_all methodMario Six1-0/+7
Add a method to probe all CPUs of the board. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
2018-09-18cpu: Fix cpu.h documentationMario Six1-13/+15
Documentation in cpu.h is not in kernel-doc format. Change it to comply with it. Signed-off-by: Mario Six <mario.six@gdsys.cc>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-2/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-10-19cpu: Add get_vendor callbackAlexander Graf1-0/+20
The CPU udevice already has a few callbacks to retreive information about the currently running CPUs. This patch adds a new get_vendor() call that returns the vendor of the main CPUs. 2016-10-19cpu: Add DMTF id and family fieldsAlexander Graf1-0/+2
For SMBIOS tables we need to know the CPU family as well as CPU IDs. This patches allocates some space for them in the cpu device and populates it on x86. Signed-off-by: Alexander Graf <agraf@suse.de> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2016-03-17cpu: Add support for microcode version and CPU IDSimon Glass1-0/+5
Some CPUs use microcode and each core can have a different version of microcode loaded. Also some CPUs support the concept of an integer ID used for identification purposes. Add support for these in the CPU uclass. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2015-07-15dm: cpu: Add a new get_count method to cpu uclassBin Meng1-0/+16
Introduce a new method 'get_count' in the UCLASS_CPU ops to get the number of CPUs in the system. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Acked-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2015-04-30dm: Implement a CPU uclassSimon Glass1-0/+84
It is useful to be able to keep track of the available CPUs in a multi-CPU system. This uclass is mostly intended for use with SMP systems. The uclass provides methods for getting basic information about each CPU. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
